.I had see something about not taking proton pump inhibitors as well as solvaldi but they ok'ed it ..
hope this helps a bit ..and I urge you to consider strongly doing the TX I left it ,then failed the old soc and am now at end stage liver diease doing the sov/riba for 24 weeks ..I would never wish this to happen to anyone else .. you go for it girl ... :)
my doc went on vacation 2 weeks into my tx with those. last I saw him , was 3 days prior to my first scheduled BW. he said I am sure you are anemic already but don't worry, we can adjust the riba and you will still have success that way.
well he then told nurse to call him to let her know my results ; she did not.
long story. now I am relying on only nurse and some doctor there that is not a hep C tx specialist, just the most senior of the gastros there. they had me stop Riba completely and stay on the Sovaldi. I feel this is so wrong.
every time I say anything she tells me go to hospital. I took the sov like they told me, alone, for a week.......I was still feeling just as weak so I did not take the last 2 days but did not tell them
but I had BW /CBC done yesterday. it shows no improvement after being off the Riba for a week.
she is going to call me this morning to let me know what this doc says.
I feel they are screwing up my tx, and chances.
but maybe she is right maybe I am critical. she keeps telling me I could die ! WTH
