Hepatitis C Support Group
Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
The stress of pain- I have dealt with it by exercising, and for really bad pain I use over the counter pain relievers. Getting out of my own head helps. Helping someone else, social interaction, reading of others with problems far worse than mine.
Hope you feel better soon. Pain comes back. I just accept it as part of life, part of illness, part of aging.
That is how I made it through 48 weeks of triple tx.

I almost stopped treatment at week 16 when I was still detected, but my Doc asked me to please do one more viral load test and I am sure
I got help from above or I would have stopped.
I did 24 weeks and don't know how, but I finished and you can do it too. I took Advil as for me that helped the most - not sure if this is advised or not.

I take Celebrex for pain (osteoarthritis), temazapam (Resoril) for sleeping and an anti-depressant. And I am still a basketcase LOL.
