Hepatitis C Support Group
Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
Today instead of laying around the hotel while on a business trip I decided to drive the extra 40 miles and go hiking on Skyline Dr over looking the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. Although it was cold as hell it was still a great day to be in the great outdoors. The views were spectacular.
The relevance of this is that in the past year or so while on TX I would never consider doing this. Now that the virus is still undetectable its given me a renewed interest in doing things that were not even on the radar while being treated. Now that I am almost two months clear my energy level and strength continue to increase daily. For all those currently on treatment keep at it because there is light at the end of the tunnel and beyond. I am hoping and praying that everyone can experience the joy of not having to deal with the Hep C any longer.

that way in the summer. Maybe I could visit sometime?
