I am new on here but I read your post and you make it better for me I never took treatment for my hep-c i am scared and the cost for seeing a doctors I cant afford but it is good to hear you are the positive outlook for this thing.

Sounds nice I realy dont have any place like that to walk I mis that also. As a child I could always walk in the woods had a creek at the bottom and mouitains on both sides I would cut and swing across the creek to other moutain would even climb small tree and ride it to another small tree and get on it like a onkey got pretty good at it. And was a RESAL stress reliver :-) Thers great wood sin alabut to many palmetto bushs here like giant cactus and limbs had a end that is sharp as a needle. And quicksand you can not see till your in it it sucks here.

Hi Cono. sounds like paradise to me. Nothing better than walking in the woods, especially near water - and nice to get out of town now & then. Get ready for snow in our area tomorrow. supposed to be significant.
I'm one week ahead of you in finishing tx, and feel a little more energetic most days but also feel the muscle weakness, especially neck, shoulders, back. Also noticing more arthritus in my hands in the morning. : [

Cono.. how's your wbc & hgb? My white count is/was very low. I just did bloodwork yesterday to see if it's come up yet. If not dr said she will have to treat me as a 'neupogenic patient'. I guess that means I'll get epogen shots.

Glad you are getting your strength back. It's a long road but we will all eventually get there. Best of luck to you.

I just wanted to make sure people were aware of a program called "Act" through Merck. My insurance would not cover my tripple med therapy so my local clinic contacted their "specialty pharmacy" and they reached out to drug companies and got me on the Merck Act program which provides my meds free of charge. they consider it a donaton (I suppose for their tax purposes) anyway, every month I get a regridgerated box delivered to my door with a 30 day supply of pegintron.rebetol.victrelis. so far I have been on program for 4 months at no cost to me other then my labs and doctor visits.

Well I hope you had your fishing pole with you! Glad to hear you got to enjoy some nature time! The muscles do take a hit! I finished 2 months ago and still feel really sore! Hope it gets better soon. starting april I need to be able to bounce down the chesapeake for the spring trophy striper season!

PS, my first blood work after I finished TX was still showing things low
wbc 2.02 was down to 1.5, RBC, HGB, and HCT all low but all on the rise. Everything else within normal range...
I usually walk whenever I get the chance. When out of town on business trips I don't usually hang out in the hotel room. Sometimes I take a walk around (outside) a mall, a state park, or most occasions the city streets. Most time during the summer you find me on my bicycle pedaling my ass all over western Pa... The meds limited it last year but am getting ready to go full tilt this year.

Not sure how I'm going to do that since my son just got me a new fly fishing rod. I guess since I'm getting old thats supposed to be my new sport of choice. Not as hard on the bones.....

Fishboy could appreciate that. Although fishing the Chesapeke sounds alot more exciting then wading through the streams for bait.
