Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

My spousal unit went to the Rheumatologist and was told to get tx for the HCV before he could do anything. He gets horrible joint pain and the affected area becomes swolen so bad that many times the Dr.'s take xrays to see if something is broken! Now we get to wait and see if the HCV manifested the RA or it was present before. Who knows! Man, that liver sure affects everything!

I use a TENS unit to help block/pain gate. They work pretty well. Not expensive and no Rx hangover. You can wear it as long as you like too!
Just like a Walkman ..lol
Walmart has them online but be sure to get one with preset programs and Google an placement pad anatomy chart

I've had one before. They do help a lot! I wish I still had one. In fact, the headache I had for two days brought on by stress would have really been helped by a tens unit! I didn't know you could purchase one yourself, I thought you had to get one through Drs.

Sure you can portable home units just make sure they have preset programs so you don't have to take a course on how to use it!
