Hi Everyone, had my final appointment with MD who treated me while on TX. He was very happy and indicated that there is no sign of the virus at this point. What does that mean? Does it mean its not there? Actually the way he put is that nothing is 100% but I'm probably as close as you can get without achieving it. The question of whether I can relapse is, absolutly. There are a lot of determining factors. The best he could advise was to take care of myself and don't do things that we all know are no no's for people with a bad liver. I have not had a drink for a year and am not saying that I quit because I'm not a quitter. I am saying I did STOP for now until I get another lab report in six months. At that point I think it will officially become official. Then and I might have a glass of wine if I feel like it.

They can't test for under 5 copies. That's why your dr said what he did. The six month vl test will be the decisive one. I'm waiting for the good news myself after my test in July.
