Don't give up! Keep the faith. doors will open that you didn't know existed. Search for HepC support in your area, & clinics, and ask about research programs. Bug Dr to help get info. Ask Health dept. I'net search. Drug companies -esp peg/intef makers. Keep fishing. Are you near a university hospital, they have funding for research & programs. Please keep us posted.

Yes Ptriss is right. I am in a clinical trial were i do not have to pay. When i first expressed interest in a clinical trial i did not have health insurance. Now i do. Google Hep c clinical trials and you can find if any are in your area. I am in telaprevir study they are having great results. Good Luck

My clinical trial was all furnished to me free and I was able to get a NEW DRUG which took my VL from 7.5 million to UNDETECTABLE in 4 weeks. They even paid me for my expenses around $3,200 for the first eight weeks, and now all my drugs and labs for the rest of the year are free too. Good luck on your travel to kick the dragon's butt. I am told that the drug companies sometimes provide the meds for free. Speak to the doctor about it. There are also sometimes studies at major hospitals and medical centers that treat you for free. Don't give up. Have your doc advocate for you. Good luck. Hugs.

I forgot to mention that the insurance route may be a moot point because most won't take you if you already have a major illness. BUT some states force insurance companies to take you--if you live in one of those states you're better off.

This is totally unfair I would of thought US ofA had a national health service like most UK.
Especially when people work pay taxes etc then get shit on sorry that makes my blood boil.

Ps I too love Animals mainly dogs, I have a cross Staff/Patterdale who is 25 now a small pic in my pics she is called Snowy she was black now she's nearly all grey but she has seen more than most humans maybe some she should not have seen but she is my best pal.

we dont have that problem in uk and its horrifying to hear about. sooooo sorry he doesnt have the insurance, but please dont give up. i'm a great believer that as one door closes another opens. you just gotta have faith.
i pray that something comes up soon for your boyfriend and i believe it will cos god doesnt abandon us in time of need. he will come through for you both. i'm sure of it.
