Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
But I was so glad to get off of that damn stuff! I hated the fat intake and the strict schedule. Worst of all was the itching. I wanted to quit many times because I couldn't stand it, and I couldn't sleep.
I think that is something to keep in mind. New drugs can seem like a godsend when we first read about them. Of course they don't tell us all of the complications up front, and you never know for sure until you release them to the public.
