Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
Took my last incivek last knight-Ready to go the whole 9 yards-48 weeker.First viral load test after 4 weeks went from 2.2 million to less than 40.Will have blood work done monday and told to phone thursday for results.Always hoping but will keep surviving no matter what. Have done tx twice before in last 12 years.You are all support and will try to comment more often.
I'll bet yours will be fine. Finishing Incivek is 2/3 of the battle; that stuff is awul. ;-)
Is history...., that in itself is a milestone to be proud of.... Takes courage and lots of it!
I, too...was less than 43 at week 4, and Undie @ wks 8, 12, 24... Tomorrow week 41. Go get em!
