The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
I was diagnosed with hep c when I was in prison in 2007. By then I had had it close to 10 yrs. I'm 42 yrs old and if I'm correct I have had hep c over half my life.
Im not doing so well. I can only assume it's become chronic. Im uninsured so....
But the symptoms are becoming more and more intrusive. Im depressed, I'm swollen, im achy and I'm so tired. I go to work and work my butt off and have no idea how. But when i get home all i can do is sleep, and sleep.
Im scared, but too tired and alone to do anything about it. Im a happy person by nature, but i feel i dont care anymore sometimes. I feel confused and befuddled at other times. I need a swift kick in the derriere, seriously. Because honestly, the p or get off the pot motto, well, those of you who were raised with those words know... Lol
