Take a look at the Newbie Corner, http://www.dailystrength.org/groups/newbie-corner
for information specifically of interest to folks just starting treatment
What treatment are you under? Standard (inf+riba) or Triple (the addition of Incivek or Victrelis)?
I just finished SOC two weeks ago for 24 weeks. It's tough, but you can do it!! Hang in there- and feel free to ask any questions!!
Glad ya found the group..................sorry ya gotta be here:(:(:(
Like Joem said, go check out the Newbie corner. The itchiness issue, butt burn, all the fun stuff we all went through. There's helpful advise, and a list of things to help.
you'll be ok. hang in there. it's not horrible 24/7. At least for me it wasn't. I had a few good days a week along with the lousy ones. Then it eases up after a while. I'm on week 28 now.
@joemz20 - I'm on the triple treatment
@lpbritt - Yes, it's Oso, as in bear. First name is Bob, everyone calls me BobOso, I think they mean Bob the Bear, LOL! (little bilingual pun there, hard to explain).
@peacefulsoul - You are right, I went to choir practice tonight, and felt really good for the 2 hours I was playing music. I thought earlier that I might not go because I was feeling badly, but I'm glad I did. I think I need to not let myself get into the feeling sorry for myself mode and try to keep my routine as best I can.
Sober 4 3/4 years.
Week 46 of 48 incivek triple tx ( finished incivek in Jan)
Best of luck! It IS doable, one minute at a time.
