Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
i was in a cinical trial back in 2009. how would i find out what the new drug was that they were giving me? when i agreed to the trial i wasn't a member of this awesome support group and didn't know a thing about what to ask etc. all i really know is that i was in the trial right after they tryed it on monkeys (cleared in 2 wks, on it for 24 wks) and what it was called on my paper work was a combination of letters and numbers.
i'm still undetectable ...so happy for that....but during the last few weeks of tx started having some vision problems at times and still do. would like to know if it was from the trial drug.
this support group is great, don't know if i could have finished without it. any advise any one could give me i would be so thankful for.

What are the letters and numbers? You may be able to google them or someone on here might recognize them, if you have that info.
If you don 't have the paperwork and there was no doc involved, maybe you can search back on DS for an old post of yours... Did you keep a journal here???
