I see my dr on March 13. Hopefully, his office will have come up with a treatment plan for the new sovaldi. Hopefully, I will begin the treatment. He always says there is no rush, but for me there is. Waiting is making me anxious. I hope that after treatment my fatigue goes away. I hope after treatment I am no longer regularly nauseous. I hope my brain fog lifts. I feel like an idiot sometimes. I also hope my vision doesnt continue to get worse. I hope my anxiety and depression go away. These are my hopes. I am ready to move to a new chapter. Has anyone had success with these things going away? Thanks all, for always being willing to reach out to all of us!

I am sending my hope to you too,vab. Are you assertive type? Will you ask your dr about the S&O & bring in notes & list of questions? Are your labs etc already ordered so they'll be completed & faxed for your appointment? I don't see your geno or liver stage posted if you're new patient then the labs not ordered ahead of visit.
We here will all be going into that visit with you and we'll do treatment at your side.

I am waiting for my 3rd tx which will be Solvadi/Ledispavir later this yr following approval by the FDA. I am geno 1a. I have the same hopes as you. Knowledge is power so go to your appt. prepared with info. & your questions. There are a few options depending on genotype & condition. Good luck.

Thanks y'all! I am genotype 2b. As far as what stage? I have no idea. My dr doesnt see the need for me to have a biopsy or anything. I agree with him. When I went to my last appt my dr said they did not have a regiment yet for the new sovaldi. They are just beginning to work on the standard operating procedures. I really appreicate this site. You guys are all so informative and supportive. So glad I found you!!

So vatta - you'll be doing Sovaldi + Riba - for 12 weeks, I believe. Great results for you Geno 2's with that.
