Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

Hello dear friends... Just stopping in to see how we are doing here... hope all is good. I see some old members still helping each other out going through this hard journey at slaying the dragon.
Anyone on treatment at this time, would love to know how your doing, so would you please reply to this post, and I shall come back in a few days and go visit you...
Then those whom have managed to kill the beast, I would love to hear from you too....
& of course everyone else who is waiting for tx, or are here for the support and love of what is the greatest bond of all of us heppers in this world....

well mckenzie as u see by answering my post on labs i'm on trial tx.abbott m11-652 an all pill regimen,,it's a very kind tx.compared to the last 2 old soc that i did...and it works,,i'm pioneering in a new generation of hepc drugs,,no more interferon......yea long time no peeky in...glad to see u're still amongst the living...very sweet of u to drop in and give u're support,,we need all we can get..god bless..fight on

Hi, I'm new here ( 2 weeks) but welcome back! I gave up alcohol and started 3tx on 11/11/11. Love this site! I'm one of the lucky ones - I'm still working, trying to enjoy life, and handling treatment fairly well but it's hard. Hope you stick around for awhile!

Hey Mac...how the heck are you sweetie? Have missed you. I relapsed on my 1st TX and now I am retreating again and so came back to DS for support. Good news is I have less than 3 weeks until this TX is done. You need to pop in more often here gosh. Hope you are well and happy my dear. Hugs to you... Jeannie XOXO

Barb, I was asked to come back, so just might do so, I see that you are in need of some positive & great support here... love you all as you know, this is the third year since I was so horribly victimized, but am working on myself daily, but must admit that the end of so many obsticles since the Home Invasion are finally coming to an end, therefore my mind is getting better, and just might come out of my room it's been long enough... this nice welcome sure puts things in a positive way...
