The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

have not been on here since earlier this year.
I am ready to start my fifth and final attempt at treatment. HARVONI
The doc is submitting his recommendations to the insurance for starting the Harvoni. Since I was stage four two years ago he is suggesting the 24 week regiment. He said this is typical time period for someone that already has cirrhosis. I sure don't feel like I have anything close to that but the biopsy told a different story.
The treatment should be a breeze. I have never had any side effects from the four previous tries other than some depression.
Still remaining in tip top shape from riding bicycle all the time. Retirment was in the plans next year but as long as I'm feeling good I decided to put that on hold. Need to sock away some more cash for future travels.

I did solvaldi & ribavarin this summer. End of tx test showed undetectable below 15.

Yea still dealing with it in a positive way. I've battled it for a long time and will never ever let it get to me.
The last treatment was close but no cigar. This one will should work. If not then I'll deal with that too.
If it wasn't for lab work you could never convince me that I was sick..
I'll be monitoring DS and posting as I go through current TX
