Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

Now "E" is a real concern for everyone, especially those with chronic health issues and for chronic liver issues it could be deadly.
I hope they come up with a vaccine like they do for A & B.
Oh well, I'm eating meat and salads. Kramer that's so very true and gross. Not just at the salad bar either but EVERYWHERE. Wash your hands well often. The greatest way to reduce common transmission of disease. If you have OCD, then wash them less often. ;-)
Yet one more thing to loop incessantly in my crazy head...
