Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
after quite a while offline, i'm back and rather than write individual hellos to everyone i know on here, i thought it was easier to do it this way.
so hi to all my special friends on ds. hope ur all doing well and on ur way to beating ur dragon. hope too that all of u on tx are doing well too. like the idea of that new drug that i read about on one of the posts, i.e., NEW DRUG RO5024048...... cant remember who posted it sorry (brain fog! lol) but thanks anyway. looking for something like it over here now!!!
well, the docs finally agreed to start me on tx and i got my first shot of 48-72 last friday. i'm doing ok tho. sure i got sides, but i'll cope. i'm pretty positive about everything still and am trying to ignore a lot of whats happening to me knowing that its only cos of the meds. and hey, i'm still smiling, still strong and still positive. i'm also here for everyone one of you.
it feels good to be back amongst my friends and from my heart, i wish you all well.
a special hi to mackenzie, tattman, kristina, pastorbob, katie, ....... and everyone else on my list that the ol' brain fog wont let me remember so easily. lol

wow mckenzie! you've done it again! you brought a tear to my eyes. lol. when you've been away from here you tend to forget how much ppl really care. at home you wear a stiff upper lip and get on with life without anyone even noticing you. on here tho, the caring and understanding is overwhelming! thank you for your kind words, as ever. sooooooo good to be back.
