Isn't it great to see those labs! Assuming your ALT and AST were normal - platelets good - etc.

And the healing HAS begun.

I am still trying to digest the news. I went back & reread my labs to make sure I wasn't mistaken. Yes, HCV not detected, ALT/AST normal. I need to work on my HDL/LDL & triglycerides. All other labs normal or very close to normal. I didn't dare allow myself to believe I could be undetected at 18 days. Wow! Celebrating with a glass of non-alcoholic wine. :-)

These drugs are "da bomb"! :)

Hugs to you as I shed happy tears. So happy for you. And what an inspiration to me, awaiting my third attempt as well. I called the insurance and pharmacy today. It was submitted last Thursday.
Said they're waiting for pre authorization.

That's great...keep on the beam! I'm new here but have been reading about all you Harvoni kids. I'm on day 19, my doc has me scheduled for labs 1st wk in Feb.??? How did you get tests after a couple days? I've been down this road since 1997 with 3 failed TX, the last with Incivik damn near killed me, platelets are still real low and 4th stage cirr. I'm on Harvoni for 24 weeks how bout you? My side effects are non-existant mild headache, no brain anyway...but sleeping like a babe fully rested when I go to work. Congratulations Allabout :-) Keep posting

@owldaddy. I've failed 2x. 48 wks ifn/riba & 9 wks triple with Incivek. 57 wks of torture & total non-responder. I am my docs first patient to get Harvoni & I have great insurance so he ordered labs right away. I started on Halloween & was tested on day 18. Report came this a.m.

I had insomnia & incredible fatigue. If I had an active day I needed a day of rest. I felt sick & tired all the time but I persevered & lived a pretty full life in spite of the dragon. Diagnosed in 1999. Think I got it in 1983 from blood transfusion but since my husband of 34 years died of HCV in 2008 & we shared a razor in the early days plus doctored each other's wounds...who knows how long I've had it. 31+ yrs anyway. It's dying now & I am thrilled.

Like you, I am rested. I have energy to get things done. I have no side effects. I feel wonderful. We never got a liver biopsy so I don't know the exact condition of my liver. We think it is fibrosis 1 or 2. Healing has begun. Awesome! Good luck & keep fighting!

Thanks alla...your not missing anything with liver biopsies I've had 4 in my life 2 were botched...Ouch! still hurts thinking about it.

Knowing what shape my liver is in doesn't help and Cirrhosis is permanent. On the bright side my father in law just turned 86 and has had cirrhosis for over 30 years...still kickin!

Harvoni is the way and I'm happy for you.

Hi there allabout ! I have not been here in quite a while, but saw your post and am very happy for you. It's a real good feeling when the liver enzymes are within range - especially when they've been 'way off' for so long. Take care ;)
