Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

It is about time! And I know it will save lives and prevent unnecessary deaths that have been increasing each year before the CDC finally grew a pair!!!
We all need to spread the word to any and every Baby Boomer we know because this is that important!
I've been battling this disease for almost twenty years since I started treatment back then and it would have saved so many lives since had the CDC been as proactive as they are today with this warning.

Some of the very same people who are fond of this idea are against universal healthcare ...so it seems sort of pointless to champion an idea and vote against it's implementation in my most humble of opinions.
