Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
Woke up this morning and what do I see
A fax on my machine saying I'm Hepititas free.
The results from Friday's labs were faxed to my home as I requested.
After three weeks on Harvoni it appears we got a winner. UNDETECTED
I am stage four and a 4x non responder I have another 20 weeks to go.
I feel marvelous. Since starting in early December I have been able to increase my workouts and add weights to my routine. It almost feels like taking steroids or performance enhancing drugs.
I feel so good that I'm heading right to the gym to celebrate.
It's what I do these days to get high.
Hope everyone has the same results. For those still waiting for approval keep the faith and be aggressive about getting treatment.

According to my doc, the HCV RNA assay test that Quest Lab used for me is only sophisticated enough to test to less than 15 IU/ml. That is considered undetected. Labs 12 weeks after end of treatment tell the story. While on tx & undetected my doc tells me I'm in remission & chances are excellent that I will achieve SVR after I stop Harvoni. Have faith. Harvoni kills HCV & you are doing awesome!!!
