The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
Got the call today from pharmacy that I Have been approved. Should be able to start as soon as next week.
Being this is,the fifth time for treatment in the last twenty years I am not getting overly excited. Maybe a year from now I will have a different outlook.

You've done 5 tx's? OMG You're a strong trooper! But I'm tellin' ya, THIS will be your last round of tx because it WORKS - and it's an easy tx - and you've been through the worst of the worst. Enjoy this one! Congrats!

i am totally positive going in as I have been through all previous treatments. even if it doesn't work I'm still not convinced that Hep C will be the way or reason I,leave this earth. If it is, so be it. I've lived a full and bountiful life. My children are successful beyond what ever I could have imagined. That was my main goal in life. Now that this has been achieved I can accept without regret whatever the lord has in store. Until then I will live life to the fullest and enjoy being with my family and friends as much as possible. I view the daily dose of Harvoni the same as taking a Mult Vitaman.
Thank you
