Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
I am not done with tx, only half way.
On my mind since I started is the possibility of having the dragon return.
I just read some where about how serious they are now about treating us. Also read where a huge amount of baby boomers have this virus and dono it. I forget the numbers but it is a huge amount and only 20 percent know they have the virus.
I think we have a good chance of winning and I'm sorry for those who dono they have it.
The new drugs sound very promising to me.
I wonder why HepC is not made more known to the public? I had no idea how serious it is until I learned I have it.
