I have been struggling for months trying to get the sovaldi approved through my insurance. They keep denying me. They expect my fibrosis to be at a certain stage. Pretty much, Im not "sick enough". Id love to write a letter and give them a piece of my mind. Actually, when I have time, I think I may. Anyway, this has been a battle and a nurse at my dr office has been extremely helpful. She got me the paperwork to apply For financial assistance through Gilead. They work quickly! It's been a little over a week and I got the letter today saying that I AM PRE-APPROVED FOR THE MEDICATION! They will be providing it for free. Im over the moon. Such good news! Now the anxiety of treatment begins.
