Kramer I really appreciate you taking the time to post all these articles. Even though I'm in the middle of my current regime, it's always good to know that I have a fallback plan in case I do not achieve SVR.

My pleasure Bob and I certainly hope you do not fail treatment but yes it's nice to know there is a recourse in the near future.
There are a few of us that did fail and others waiting to start treatment for the first time so I am always ear to ground for any news at all!
Shitty thing for us that did fail is there was no recourse. It was "Don't call us, we'll call you". Hard to stay upbeat and proactive under those terms. Those days are almost over!

It's probably because so many folks, whether they are health care professionals or SVR patients even though most don't really mean any malice but, I don't know why more people in here don't make an effort not to say that the person failed because it's not the person who failed treatment... The treatment failed them!!!

There may not be an awareness regarding this observation in here as much as I would prefer, and that's why I bring it up...

This is great news regarding Gilead's ongoing effort to expeditiously have the FDA as well as other bodies world wide approve their DAA's... However, We all need to give a better effort when we say that the treatment failed the person and not the other way around even if there was no intentional malice by the person that writes it. It's still condescending to those who have yet to experience successful treatment and makes them feel inferior and hopeless.

Just my observation. :>)

Yea for Gilead. April 4th will be my last visit and they will be able to "officially" say that I have been cured.
