I think they are just milking the insurance companies while they can. New drugs next year, watch the prices come down with competition.
Based on everything I've read - which was extensive - my understanding is that this tx is most expensive in the U.S.S (as are most drugs). All other countries negotiate drugs prices with pharma EXCEPT the U.S. There's a reason so many Americans but their drugs from Canada and it's certainly NOT because drugs are more expensive there. I'd suggest you post a link to to the contrary if you have one but I don't suppose you do.
