It may take a while. All I've read on cryoglobulinema is:

Treatment of mild or moderate cryoglobulinemia depends on the underlying cause. Treating the cause will often treat the cryoglobulinemia.

Mild cases can be treated by avoiding cold temperatures.

Standard hepatitis C treatments usually work for patients who have hepatitis C and mild or moderate cryoglobulinemia. However, the condition can return when treatment stops.

Severe cryoglobulinemia (involves vital organs or large areas of skin) is treated with corticosteroids and other medications that suppress the immune system.

Treatment may also involve plasmapheresis. Plasmapheresis is a procedure in which blood plasma is removed from the circulation and replaced by fluid, protein, or donated plasma.

Yup-- and cortisone is terrible for the liver.

I have heard most are not cured of this. I would have mild to moderate. My good thoughts are still there that I am part of the 20-30%.

WOW! "Looking at 60 treatment-naive genotype 1 patients, 100% of those treated with sofosbuvir/ledipasvir for 12 weeks had sustained undetectable HCV RNA at 4 weeks post-treatment. Further, 95% treated with sofosbuvir/ledipasvir and 100% treated with sofosbuvir/ledipasvir/ribavirin for 8 weeks still had suppressed virus at 8 weeks post-treatment."

And Phase III is kicking off any day now - I SO wanted to screen for it, but ... nearest trial center for me is San Diego - 450 miles one way - just can't do it (even if I COULD pass the screening - still no answers on my autoimmune issue(s) - getting REAL frustrated with the doc and tired of traveling to Vegas to see him ... for NO ANSWERS).

renee - I am cryo negative - but that's all I know at this point. Lots of other things "could be" wrong with my immune system - sorry your cryo is hanging on, but - yep, keep hoping/positive.
