It's a ruse. They start high so when they lower the price to half of the original price. People think their getting a good deal.

Peeps - start looking at Abbvie - they are coming on strong and have had excellent success with Geno 1's in trials - Phase III studies with THOUSANDS of participants, world-wide, and cirrhotics did great too - as well as lower stages! They will be submitting to FDA second quarter 2014. My eyeballs are on ABBVIE.

This Gilead crap --- it won't stop Abbvie! Abbvie is full steam ahead right now, with the prize in sight. Gilead knows it and is stirring up the pot - TRYING to get us Geno 1's to do that stoooopid 24 weeks of Sovaldi + Riba - IMAGINE the cost of THAT? About $175,000 big smackerooos. So, see, if we were fooled by Gilead, we'd be struggling along with our 24 weeks of RIBA on Gilead's bogus geno 1 tx, maybe already bounced off tx for not clearing, when Abbvie is about to hit the market - I am not gonna be in that bunch, I can promise you that.

Don't fret - ABBVIE IS ON THE WAY. I know so many peeps who did an Abbvie trial and are SVR12 and looking at SVR24 - hard core cases, some of them.

If I had money to play the market, I'd be grabbing Abbvie now - and if I had GILD (Gilead) stock I'd dump it. JMO

Yes, it does Rass - so far. HOWEVER, Abbvie is starting trials now with NO RIBA arms - so .... They won't put in for FDA approval until those trials are completed - just in case they might find that RIBA IS NOT NEEDED (like it doesn't seem to be for geno 1's who did the Sofosbuvir/Ledipasvir in trials).

My brain is starting to fog......
