Hello dear friends, hope to find you well, to those on tx, with minimal sides to none.
I have been cleaning my walking closet, since I couldn't walk in it anymore, it was high time for me to pack up stuff that I didn't use or wear for over a year now.
While getting ready for my second day at clearing out the shelves, it was right there with the empty keft over boxes of my combo meds, I had kepted for souvenirs.
I have kepted journals for years, and to this day I look back into them, and read about what I was doing back then and with who, even see people's name in them that are no longer here with us.
But this one journal, is a daily written diary of all of my appointments, results, sides, meds for different sides, the whole journey is in there.
Wow, I am soo happy to have kepted a daily diary on my journey towards killing the beast.
Dark memories, but in the end it was well worth the darkness.
I strongly urge people who goes thru or will go thru this journey, to have a daily journal, for personal source to when you went for one appointment or another, and your numbers ect...
Then, a great online support group like this one, is a must.
Being with people who have been thru treatment, sharing knowledge on the hep c virus, I for one would have been lost without a great forum to share my ups and downs, and get support from members who were in the same situation, just as scared as I was then.
To all those starting treatment, we are here for you, and those who just needs support and knowledge, info on the virus, we are here to help.
Hope everyone has a good weekend.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

Each dr visit, I took in the notes from the journal that had been written since the last visit.
At the end of tx, I put all the journal on disks and gave the set to my dr so that he could toss away the paper.
I was shocked on 6mnth post tx visit that he had kept all the paper copy as well as the disks.
Everyone, and I mean everyone, should start a journal when starting tx because you honestly can't remember everything.
I have this old antique suitcase, and will put all of my tx stuff in it.
Along with the journal, I have the baggies of hair that I had lost, boxes of my meds, bottles of my riba, even unused needles still in the packages, alcohol pads, I kepted everything. lol
The last time I went to see My PCP he showed me my last PCR test on paper from my hep doctor, and I told him I wanted a copy, but wanted to wait until I get all of my new CBC that I had last week.
This way, I can put the hard copies in the suitcase along with everything else.
Now you see why I need to clear out that closet, I tend to keep everything for souvenirs, good or bad.
Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.
Later.....
