Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

For those on treatment...

When I was on treatment, I used to do my shot on Sunday nights.
The reason I choose that night, was due to the fact that my daughter would leave monday morning for school, so this way I could be in shape for her during the weekends.

My husband did his shot on friday nights, so that he would feel a bit better for work on mondays.

When are your shot nights?

You are an inspiration to me and I am sure to others here as well. You are always encouraging to those of us who are down and need a lift. Keep it up, you are truly helping me to feel more upbeat and not so down.

I have to do shots every night. around 7pm I have bad moments during the wee hrs but at least Im able to have good days as well as bad,Yeh I hate doing them every fuckin night it does give me attitude, I lose focus but I regain it the next day. hop on my bike and make it to the noon meeting if all is good. For those who have to do shots. my heart is with you all.

I do mine on Tuesdays, So I can feel better on Sunday mornings.After 51 Wks so far I can't really say it really mattered. I didn't seem to have a schedule of good and bad days. I also have Fibro so that kinda decides things for me. Not so much the shot. I love this new site. Daily Strength wish I could of found it sooner. But thankful to of found it. Sharkdlzl, 52 weeks is lot of time to be on these meds. Sorry to hear your viral load is still showing.... I'm also happy you have found us, if you need to talk I'm never to far away.
