My liver is to healthy for my insurance to cover treatment for my Hep C. I suffer from recurring Epstein Barr ( Mononucleosis) because of my Hep. C. The Harvoni treatment is $1000 a pill and I can't afford that. I found a web site that can help me get a " TESTED", 12 week supply of Sofosbuvir + Daclatasvir for $1500 from India or China. Does anybody heard about this or have any info about it?

I don't know much about Daclatasvir . I was on sofobuvir (sovaldi) with ribavarin, it nearly killed me (the ribavarin). That was my second treatment.
Now I am in harvoni for 24 weeks & it is a piece of cake (this is my third treatment).
As for buying a treatment from another country, I personally hav no experience with that. Do you have a nurse practitioner friend, or a doctor who would be willing to discuss it with you OFF the RECORD?

They cannot tell you that is OK, understand that, but they may find a way to discuss it with you...Please, I hope someone who has tried it will se your post!

I read i think on the 'hepatitis central' that prices for hep c treatments are dropping fast and new drugs coming out too. the drug company's that sell the drugs to us sell it cheaper to other country's.
I am not certain but i think i read where the whole treatment can cost as low as $200.00.
I wish my insurance could have gotten it for that price. I was on vikara pak 24 weeks at the cost of around $979.00 a day. I hate to see these insurance company's go broke at the backs of greedy pharmaceutical company's who make billions.

I have seen one person?family post on here that they got the stuff from India ..and it was working .. I think you have to really research whare and what you get ..

Hypothetically I would not hesitate to obtain the potentially life saving medication through other than normal sources as cheaply as I possibly could. I would stockpile the medication until such time as I had in my possession enough of the medication so that I would be able administer to myself the highest allowable dose of the medication for the maximum length of time allowed. Hypothetically I would then begin the treatment by myself and I would not stop until I had taken every single dose of the medication that I had acquired. I would not involve any doctors and never would I ever allow any other person to have any information at all regarding any of the details of this hypothetical situation. Hypothetically, I would not have any testing done at all until such time as I had finished the entire course of treatment and six months to a year had passed since the completion of the treatment. I am absolutely sure that I would do all of this without any hesitation whatsoever.
