Went for a mountain bike ride...

I am the nut of the crowd and I sat on my couch till 7 AM stayed up all night waiting for something to happen LOL. Nothing ever did. Silly me!

Took the pill at my doctors office the second she gave it to me.. then
Carried on my normal day .. lol

I very angrily went with my husband to a funeral for his best friend's wife's father......

He ranted and went on and on about how he would be alone in the car driving, etc. until my "people pleaser" kicked in and I went along.

He never really understood what I was going thru and never will. I love him, he means well - but he hates doctors and blood and anything medical.

Turns out a friend of ours that was a widow at age 40 drove all alone in her car by herself.....I told Hubby (now you couldn't do that?)......There was tons of drinking afterwards and that was hard.
I didn't get much sleep the night before, but I was more angry at him and I looked like crap as i was sweating so much.

I think I was sweating from the Riba, not sure.

Now this just turned into a rant - sorry, guess I needed to get that off my chest. I never could get Hubby to understand this treatment was BETTER for me.....He just could not get INTERFEURON off his mind when I went thru that.

Still together, but at times it can be trying.....You can really do anything - but I would choose to do what I wanted to do!!

Which treatment? The first one, I was in a trial & on lock down at their facility. Not much to do but read or watch tv.
The 2nd tx, went about my daily business.
Will do the same when I start the 3rd tx.

The first one Interfuren and riba. I gave myself a shot in the leg and waited. Eight hours latter I was miserable and was miserable for 48 weeks. The second tx I took a pill, mowed the lawn hung out laundry. Cleaned house. Waited for something. Nothing. Still no side effects. The doctor says 1/ of people do not have side effects on Havoni. I feel very fortunate.

1/3 of people have no side effects.

DonnaWhite .....I don't recommend it . It was a long long night and I swore I was going to get some awful side effect and wanted to be awake for it .....sick I know. LOL Harvoni has been good to me. NO side effects at all. Good luck to you!!

as TrixieDaisy knows already, I am a lot like her, however I think I mostly did my usual things that day BUT in my head was waiting for something awful.
. Because I have been a member here for years but only this summer finally did my tx with Sovaldi and Riba...I am sure that played into my dread.
meaning I had read for years about "those other" older treatments and was just praying it would not be like that.
It was not like that . I won't lie, it was not easy either but that does not mean other people will have same issues as me.
I am on so many other meds , and maybe that played a role in how I felt on tx.
I am so glad I did it.
