Actually mint is a top item on a list to avoid with heartburn because it relaxes the sphincter and causes acid to go up.
Got home and checked the Harvoni cut sheet and...surprise...surprise Prilosec bad. Called Gilead help line they told me 20mg is ok...but get ok from my hep doc. Hep doc confirmed 20mg is ok as long as long I take 4-6 hrs prior or after...ultimately it is my choice. This HCV ride is wearing me down all around. 12 weeks of tx in 12 to go.
My suggestion to you is check with the source (Gilead) they are very helpful in offering suggestions and hopefully solutions to all of us dragon hosts.
PS: Get my first labs tomorrow, fingers crossed and $100k later. Results in a week!!!
