The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Fatigue...One of my worst symptoms. The suggestions actually work for me. Especially eating smaller meals. I find lots of water and walking helps too. Thanks

Yes I try to graze healthy and drink water even if I'm not thirsty. Sometimes that helps.

Yep - "The continued, long-term response of the immune system to chronic Hepatitis C contributes to fatigue." I'm seeing an immunologist right now, working through the process of identifying an immune system disorder (cryo, vasculitis, Sjogren's ruled out) - I have a C3 complement deficiency of some sort. Yesterday my doc told me that my fatigue is from HCV (and depression, CAUSED by HCV). My immune system is messed up too, but the primary cause of that AND fatigue is this damn virus.

The fatigue I was feeling before I knew about HCV, was the reason I did the HCV test. I did a complete panel, looking for something.... Yes, it was the C.

Me too, O. I thought I had mono!!!! That was in 2002. Turned out to be THIS SHIT. Then, for whatever reasons, the fatigue didn't really knock me down like it does now until maybe a year ago.

I guess this explains my fatigue issues. I thought it was from working 12-14 hours a day. Time for a nap. Peace

It makes me feel better to think the fatigue is due to the work my immune system is trying to perform. I've figured all along, if you're that tired, go to sleep! Body must need it.
Getting depressed for feeling so tired all the time wasn't working for me, it made it worse. Over it.However, I do not have to hold a job anymore.
