Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. Thats the way I always felt while on TX. I am now realizing
after finishing up a month ago that I was even feeling like that
before taking the TX. It now seems, at this point that I don't
have all the aches and arthritic pain, sinus issues, and what not
that I always was taking over the counter meds for. I used to live on
Ibuprofen but now find my myself needing it less and less. I can't
get over the change my body is feeling. Its a welcome relief to
feel good again. It seems obvious that living with the Hep C virus
for the last 20 plus years took a toll on the body. Now that its
gone I have visions in the future of not acting my age. Hopefully
I can control myself and not be wild and crazy as I once was.
Like the song goes, "I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm good
once as I ever was"
This post is meant for encouragment for those doing treatment or
considering treatment. There are far more better days ahead in
your life then there are bad ones like those experienced from side
effects. Keep at it with a postivie attitude and you'll get through it.

I'm 2 months post tx and I know what you are talking about. Its like your life is slowly coming back. I no longer take any meds. I to did many tylenol over the years not knowing it was because of the Hep c. Now it just feels good to feel good. I sometimes forget I ever had hep c.

I'm sooo glad that you got better in a relatively short period of time!
Now that you got your life back, It is your duty to continue making the BEST you can out of life because it'll get tougher to "cure" the next time around and that's the key!!!

Blanche, I never thought of it as getting my life back because its been so long. I guess thats exactly how I feel. Now that its back I wonder if I can work on reversing the aging process? Just wishful thinking on my part..

I feel much better. I even shoveled 80'+40' of deep wet snow this
morning. I'm going out to make snow angels!!!! Might even get
drunk tonight!!! LOL. Western PA is a beautiful place. Been through
there many times. Clipped a deer one night at 3:00am running about
80mph. It ran up right up on my side of the van. I could see it's eye
about a foot from mine. It knocked off the mirror. I stopped and
there was nothing I could find, no deer or mirror. Drove back the
last 500 miles with no mirror. Thanks for the push!!!!
