I thought they couldn't discrimination. Here is some info. Maybe you can take them to the Human Rights Board if you have one.
Your ex's girlfriend is totally ignorant and uneducated. Maybe you should provide them with some literature.

It was a TV show. I have filed a formal complaint. I was just wondering if anyone on here has ever had a similar experience with discrimination with any kind of opportunity.
On the other subject at hand. It is actually my boyfriend's, ex baby-mama, who does not want me to be around the child they had together. Can I legally have to leave my home when the child comes over or do I have to sit out of going to events where the child will be?
I am feeling sad.

I have lived with Hep C for over 30 years and until I was discriminated against by the TV show last year and now the ex-baby mama,...I never felt bad about myself.

We are not defined by our chronic health issues & being diagnosed with HCV does not make anyone a bad person.
It is hurtful to have had people judge me for having HCV but the people who truly love me have stood by my side through it all & the others didn't matter after all so I'm better off without them. Knowledge is power & educating ourselves & other is the only way to remove the judgmental stigma.
The situation with the ex - often a woman will not allow the father to see the child if he is with another woman. Ultimately I suspect it comes from jealousy of another woman, and exerting control as punishment; hcv is a convenient excuse. Also a tool to create discord between you & your S.O. He has to maintain an amicable relationship with the childs mother til child turns 18. The child should be his top priority. You wouldn't want a guy who didn't do that. The child has legal rights.
In my opinion, I think the smoothest route is to respect the womans wishes. They all had a relationship before you came in, I assume, & they must continue. Over time, all the relationships will change. If you're still with him, if mama hooks up with a new guy, it won't be a sore issue anymore.
Could you suggest he see the child somewhere else so you can stay home? Or use the time with friends or family?
As for the job...
I've found that if they don't want you for whatever reason, it may be better to look elsewhere. But sue them if you can!
Best wishes
