Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
So sorry to hear of the passing of your ex husband Rick earlier this week.

I'm so sorry that I just saw this post. I would have responded sooner but I've kinda been MIA.
Rick had a long tormented life as a drug addict and his death brought about an end to his torture and gave him peace that could have only come from God. Rick and I had an opportunity to make peace with each other after a tumultuous relationship of 6 years and for that I am grateful. His body was cremated and his remains will be laid to rest in Port Angeles, Washington where he lived as a child. RICHARD EUGENE RANKIN - JAN. 12, 1955 - MAR. 13, 2007.
