This video was released 2 days before his death.
"Look up here, I'm in Heaven. I've got scars that can't be seen. . . . . .Everybody knows me now"

Someone said on the other thread that the video was a little creepy. I can only say from the few clips I've seen that it was obvious he knew he was dying, and this was his "dying art." His last work of Art for this World. What a loving thing he has done for us! Death is as important a part of life, as is Birth. I learned that thru caring for my husband the last year of his life after learning he had Lung Cancer just 4 months after we married a 2nd time. I also lost my fear of death and the dying process by watching it closely. My late-husband gave me his "death rattle" - we were heart upon heart, at the time, as I was whispering in his left ear when he finally let go.
I've not watched the whole vid yet, as I'm taking a week to process this one. I was in bed all day Monday upon seeing the News on FB.
So sad, but I suppose our Generation (I'm 61) needs to start getting used to this more & more. I fear I shall likely faint away when Mick Jagger dies. j/s ;)
Now about David suffering from liver cancer for 18 months or so, I have to presume that his cancer had spread beyond the liver is probably why he didn't recieve a liver transplant. During the last six months of his life must have been bloody hell for him and the pain medicine was strating to be less effective to mask the pain he had. it's truly amazing that he still had enough natural creativity to record his last album and video which was his way of celebrating his upcoming passing. And finally. I don't remember if he was inducted to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. It would truly be a shame if he wasn't already in there. End of rant. *{];>)~
