Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
So we will looking at sometime 2015 for the release? It sound more then great as it will drive the price down (hopefully) as will be a selection of meds available, but many folks cant wait that long , whom having already health issues related to HCV. So the one who will really benefit may don't even diagnosed just yet.
