Very interesting.... having just barely made it through the first 12 weeks of triple with incivek, it is not a surprise at all that 21% terminate treatment in the first 12 weeks..... my experience was that it was brutal, and at times I was sure I was dying (but I didn't, not yet, and now in week 14 after a blood transfusion I am feeling relatively fantastic!!!!). Still 35 weeks to go, and I know the anemia will return and new challenges arise.

I really appreciate reading the research that is emerging on we guinea pigs now that this drug is on the market. I think the new meds will be out soon and there will be only a small cohort of us who went through triple tx-- so i am wondering if the research on long term effects will even happen.... IM I really, really appreciate all of the information you share.

Yes I'm sure in the future our pictures will be in medical museums alongside other atrocities performed in the name of Science..lol

The tobacco smoke enema! Talk about smokin' butts!
I have concern for those of us desperately seeking alternative treatments that are not even being monitored, riduculous amounts of otc vitamin /supplements, enemas, infusions.
Balance, balance in all things.
Takes a lot of balance to ride this board every day.
