Officially 7 days til SOV/LED comes out - funny how it is on a Friday.....no specialists will work weekends lol. Besides, we all know that they won't get the ball rollin' on this one that fast, though it will be faster through the channels than the last one(s).
I already know that I won't get it until Jan at the very earliest, as this is when my next hep doc appt is. Beyond that, I just assume it will be a hassle to get it seeing how I am not only tx naive, but very little to no damage after most of my life having it.
I had an ultrasound around this time last year, so I suppose I should have another done to be current for the specialist. She said that "we" would fight for it, and if she does not do what she can to get it for me, then I shall try another hep doc. It's on!!!!!!!
When I get on this med, I look forward to going through it with all you S&L buddies! (Yes, I still love the rest of you, as always!). Have a good weekend everyone!!!

I see that it was indeed approved, wholesale cost $93,500 for 12 weeks and an 8 week course $63,000. If I were not technologically compromised, I would have attached the link.

There must be a difference between Sovaldi and Sov/Led as I thought Sovaldi came out a while ago?

Solvadi was approved in Dec 2013, don't quote me, but it was approved and so was Olysio but not as a combo...Solvadi was approved for use with Riba, or inferonsn/Riba for a shorter duration..12 weeks I believe but yes it was approved but this new combo S & L is now new and improved combo everyone has bee waiting for....my NP says they will be writing scripts probably by Nov...
