Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
I just did my injection a couple of hours ago. I'm really paranoid about whether everything is OK with the pegasus. I thought it was just a little bit cloudy looking. It's hard to tell cause the syringe is painted white. I can't believe that I've done this 52 times and can't remember exactly what the liquid is supposed to look like.
Anyhow, it's 2 hours later and the thing just hit me like a 2 X 4 in the forehead, so I guess it wasn't a total dud.

In the future, if you find a cloudy one, call the Pegasys people and ask about it. I think I recall reading that a real cloudy shot should probably not be used -- but I'm sure if yours was "real cloudy" you would have known.

do not use PEGASYS if:
1323 - the medicine is cloudy
1324 - the medicine has particles floating in it 1325 - the medicine is any color besides colorless to light yellow
1326 - the expiration date has passed
I always made sure the expiring date was later than sooner.
