Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
How many of us have exaggerated responses to chemicals? I read that Joe gets a headache and unpleasant feeling in another post. I have the same thing, plus rapid heartbeat. I get it from perfume, cigarettes (even someone smoking yards away, outside), cleaning products, Home Depot, the soap isle in stores, certain inks in books and magazines, etc. I've asked drs. for years if it's from the Hep C and they all say No. I'm wondering...
I also cannot tolerate perfumes or scented lotions of any kind and, especially, scented dryer sheets. If a co-worker wears a lot of perfume, I will develop a bad headache.
I smell things that my husband doesn't; including teeny tiny gas leaks in and around the house. I have had to call the gas company many times and they will tell me they found no leak but then I call them again and the next guy will find a very tiny leak and will fix it...smell is gone. No one else seems to be able to smell it but it's there and not only can I smell it but my body reacts to it.
