Just remember this is your body's way of telling us to take it easy!
It is just a side or "feeling".....it is actually our body having to work harder to catch up, because of our low counts.
So definitely don't ignore this and continue on with what you are trying to do.........I don't mean just you , i am saying that to everybody in general.
I've been told two things cause this: the interferon itself and, in some cases, anemia caused by the rbv. But you should ask your doc if you want to know for sure.
As for after tx, I began to feel the fatigue lifting the very first week after tx. Ask your dr if taking folic acid may help you in getting some relief.
While we are on tx we shouldn't try working up to anywhere close to what we used to do..... even if we think we can when it comes to things like working out or anything that places an aerobic stress on the body. Your body isn't as strong and will definitely not be able to replace the oxygen debt.
Ask your Doc what will be safe for you while on tx.
Things like you usual routine will come into factor.....but everybody on tx are placed on restrictions of some sort.
