Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
After my last post I started thinking that it would be wild if there was a one pill, one time treatment...and then I started getting really goofy and thought of Bioline making ONLY ONE SINGLE PILL that people would make a pilgrimage to, so they could touch it...and then they'd be cured. It would be in some kind of mysterious shrine...
Well...like I said, I'm feeling goofy, which is a welcome relief. It took a long time since dx for the needle on the Angst-O-Meter to come down. Finally, a little acceptance...
