Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
i havent been online much over the xmas period, cos i've been laid up most of the time with damn flu, but hope you all had a really wonderful christmas.
anyway, my brother sent me this link. http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/2007/dec/27/medicalresearch.drugs you might wanna check it out. like most of us with hep c, i dont drink, but this is supposed to help with hepatitis too. dont know when its due out on the open market, but sounds interesting. anyone know anything about it? any input would be interesting.
