Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

I think when there is a huge problem in 20 or 30 years with millions upon millions of people neeeding liver transplants well then and maybe then this fucking world will WAKE UP! If only those people would have known to get checked...if only those people could have done a treatment to stop the end stage liver disease from distroying their liver...IF ONLY mankind would have gotten there fucking heads out of the sand 20 or 30 years prior!!!!Someday the world will wake up but so many lives will have to be lost first...it is sad and unfortunate but it is true. Jeeeeeze this makes me mad!
What really bothers me is that more education needs to get out about A and B because there is no reason to get either when you can get protected from both.
