Kept saying I was holding out on tx until I knew if my cirrhosis was bad enough to consider. My level is 4/4. Which is not good. My dental work done next week. Do not know exactly when I will start. My biggest concern is the numerous side effects with each person different. I know they can not put me on ribravarin so will be on havonti for 24 weeks. Looking up medications I only have only heard tiredness and depression. Now a lot more have surfaced. Does anyone know where I can find a list of all the side effects. Other then drinking a lot of water has anyone found certain vitamins, supplements helpful. Have heard a lot of weight loss. Is appetite decreased or food just not processed. How does exercise play intotreatmnt. Will look forward to some answers.

squeaker1231 That was why I posted a post cause I knew there was more side effects then anyone was saying. Go check out my post titled "Harvoni-nobody wants to say". There was a lot of good replies there. Also there is another one titled "Harvoni side effects" that also has good info. Just hang in there and keep us posted. I will probably start around when you will be starting Harvoni. This group is so supportive don't ever feel like you are out there alone. That's why everyone shares here and I definetly appreciate being I haven't started the Harvoni yet either. But meanwhile I am preparing myself for days ahead and getting a lot of good information!!!

You shouldn't worry so much and build it up so much in your mind that you start having false side affects, I was doing the same thing but when I was approved for Harvoni I had to talk myself down and that was the best thing I ever did. Now don't get me wrong there are side affects not mentioned, like I have problems with digestion but compared to peg intron and riva. they are well tolerated. I am on week five and before talking myself down I never dreamed I would get this far....but if I can stand it any body can, because I have a very sensitive system and is alergic to alot of meds because of it.
So the best of luck to you once you start and Pray about the medication once it's in your hand---that sure helped me!

Since I did Sov/Riba - the one thing I can add is Jays is right!!

The more I looked up stuff on Sov and Riba and Hep C, I drove myself crazy - for real. Finally I decided to stay off the internet and I did calm down.

It can make you a basketcase and I did not have a lot of side effects except for the Riba, which you are blessed not to have to take it.

remember too that each body is different and reacts in various ways ..I did the old Inf/Riba and peg /riba
I thought I would die so when i knew I had to do Riba this time i was freaked out but the inter reactions between inf /riba and Sov/riba are different and it has been so much easier than I ever dreamedor dared to hope
So go for it ..take each day at a time and I DIDN'T ask what the sidE effects were untill I had something, then I asked if anyone else had that ..you will never have them all .. This worked for me ..Hopefully one of us will suggest things that work for you too \
