What!?! Gilead TAKETH again - that's what I'm reading. "However, Gilead has chosen not to pursue development of this combination "

This IS OUR CURE - esp. we Gen 1's. We NEED THIS - NOW. But AGAIN Gilead doesn't want to play with anyone else. Some of us cannot wait for Gilead to finally get their "one pill" combo pill through the FDA. Some of us cannot PAY for off-label drugs not FDA approved. I would venture to say that MOST of our healthcare providers, i.e., insurance companies although I am on Medicare and TriCare, which are fed. govt programs, not insurance - will NOT PAY for off-label drugs.

Maybe I'm not understanding this - but I think I am - and it is not good news - esp. for Gen 1's. I hope BMS, Abbvie, Vertex, Merck, Janssen, or ANY other company but Gilead hits the finish line first with their CURE. Gilead is the greed-whore of the big pharmas IMHO.

Yep Magic that's what their name means "We Want All The Booty" I'm pissed they made me resistant and refuse to keep up their end of the contract. I am supposed to get my health records but they won't give me my IL28B.... WTF.... they're my records... and I keep giving them blood....
the review board who oversees them are just as greedy, it seems.

Henry, you know I've talked about this before.... I contacted the review board and they did nothing.... I don't know who oversees the the review board... the FDA? I've been thinking about a lawyer in my area. I gave them consent to use my blood for 15 years which I can revoke at anytime but HOW? And why should I let them use it if it's for greed? I caught the doctor lying... and the list goes on and on.... I don't know if another clinic or drug company will take me... I really need to re-read the article.... but I can't deal with it right now. I think I will call that number, just to see what they have to say... Good idea... Gracias

is IL28B of concern for non interferon hepc treatment?

the IL28B test was part of the trial so I assume they are studying this... I took 3 different DAAs.... they offered me an interferon trial so how can I make an informed decision without that information.
