Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. I just did my 7th wk Viral L / blood work , have spent ystrdy thinking of how good I have been feeling lately, I went from feeling so weak that I couldn't even shower, confusion, severe joint pains, rashes used to take me an hr to get out of bed then another 2 just to get dressed.. Now I get up shower dress and go about my daily chores still feeling some sides from the Riva but nothing compared to what I have been feeling for the last six years,,( horrible joint pain, weakness, dizzy spells, rashes, confusion, I could go on and on) anyway was thinking that I don't ever want to feel that way again!! I don't know what I would do or feel if this tx (Sovaldi/Oly/Riva) does not work....I know I don't ever want to give up but it would be a hard pill to swallow so I keep praying for us all...
Whether I totally clear or not, I am staying upbeat as my Hep C sides
were getting horrible after so many years of this beating up my body
Believe me, it is NOT just the iiver it attacks, I think.
Also, my bloodwork shows my glucose numbers way down, I could go on and on - so it is packing a punch to the Hep C.

I agree with all here. I am on solv/riba week 9, still detectable.
This is not my first treatment.
I am not worrying about whether I clear to undetectable. I am still having ups & downs with the sides. At present, my number one mission is to complete the treatment. I have a long way to go before the 12 week post treatment test and anything can happen between now & then!
I am so happy that you are feeling much better. I'm sure the treatment is working wonders in you right now.
