If the pharmacist is unconcerned, your meds may not be heat sensitive. My riba is not the "keep cool" form. It wouldn't survive down here.

so funny Jaro, I argued with the VA about me having to travel 42 miles once a week to get more meds, that's 84 back and forth, I asked who don't you trust? the Mail man or me? she laughed pulled some strings, and two days later after the big deal about the price of these drugs I hear a noise at my front door only to see a UPS truck hauling ass with my expensive meds jammed between the storm and entry door. great confidence builder aint it?

I hope you got those Sovaldi replaced. Sovaldi is heat and cold intolerant as WG said.

I have the cold style Riba. It has to be kept in the fridge with my interferon. So I have drugs all over the place...in the fridge, in the bathroom cabinet......

My story is weird too:

My insurance makes me sign for $900 meds, but they dump the
$28,000 Sovaldi on my front bench without even ringing the doorbell.

I now set it up that I HAVE TO SIGN FOR IT> I just don't want the pills lost - I have to remind them every time when I order!!

That's just totally irresponsible. I had my deliveries set up so I had to sign for the meds & the pharmacy called to tell me when they were shipped & when they would be delivered. I can't imagine what would happen if someone found these drugs & ended up trying them just for kicks. Seriously bad policy to deliver meds in this manner. Glad you gave them an earful & you should push to have those drugs replaced. Wow!

I would be upset too. My pharmacy (which is probably the same as yours, since we have the same doctor) calls me and lets me know what day they will be delivered, and they are brought to my door and I have to sign for them.

My story is so confusing lets see if I can make a long long story sort of short.

Originally I get call from Caremed if I am ready for first shipment. Yes, 2 days later Fedx delivers with signature required. 3 days later get call from pharmacy (I didnt hear the name) wanting to know if I wanted my first shipment. Told them I had already, she was shocked but said she would make note. Every 2 days for a week I get this call. Until I ask for a super and she marks it cancelled.
Second shipment is ready, wed call from Caremed, ready for second , shipment arrives thur, but hrs before get call from the pharmacy wanting to know if Im ready for my shipement, told them already ordered, they claim have no record so must have been a error and they will ship will arrive Friday. but shipment does arrive all I can think of is whoo, suppose I get 2, insur refuse to pay for one, want back and that messes up my third shipment. I look at the bottle, calle Caremed and relay all this. They swear they have no record and I will not get one Friday.
Well on Friday here come UPS, sign for shipment and here I stand but the name on the box is something else.
What do I do. I called my insur and they said dont worry, keep what you have no more will be sent.

The price of this stuff is paralyzing to even consider. As many of us as there are, they will put some major restrictions on it sooner than later. Those who can should not delay.

But I had to sign, who do yall have, we only have UPS and FEDX here, never had an issue with them. Very good about deliverys. and we live in country on long gravel driveway. We even get to chat with the guy for a minute or so once in a while.

Mine arrive on time every time via FedEx, to the door.

I'm almost finished with the 12 weeks, and I got a call from the pharmacy last week to verify that they are sending the next shipment and wanted to let me know what day. I told them, of course, I'm not supposed to get another shipment. I'm almost finished. All I needed was another month's supply, then be billed for it.

during my ordeal there were times I would ask them if they knew how expensive this crap was, I just thought they were throwing it around like a bottle of aspirins, then when I realized it was 2 different pharmacy's that just created new questions.

My 2nd shipment will be here today they called me 3 days ago so getting ready for the second shipment next week!

I was supposed to sign for meds, courier service dropped the ball. I am the most worried about meds getting stolen. I will ask and ask again about signature for my next shipment.

I pick mine up at the pharmacy. .picked last two bottles up Monday.
